Creative Things Guys Can Do With Their Valentine

Love is worth a lifetime of jubilations. Think of Valentine's Day as the epicenter of it all. Every year on the 14th of February, you should pick up the fervor and float in the passion for another year. In order to do this, be sure to celebrate all 24 hours of the day with the same zest. Don't limit your Valentine's Day celebration to one fancy dinner, begin the romance when you wake up and make the day memorable. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  1. Buy rose petals, or the petals of your lady’s favorite flower, and scatter the petals down her hallway or throughout her house. If your beloved likes mystery, set up a treasure hunt. Leave a trail of petals leading to a special Valentine’s Day gift.
  2. Try putting a portable radio or audio system in the trunk of your car. Take your darling lady to a place away from the crowds; a riverfront, a lake, the ocean or somewhere that means something special to the two of you; perhaps the place where you shared your first kiss. Park your car, turn the music on and dance to your favorite numbers till the sun goes down.
  3. It is no secret that women value and cherish each and every detail of their love story. A great way to woo her is to nostalgically remind her of sweet moments you’ve shared in the past. Remind her of your unexpected first meeting, or of how the gifts that she has presented to you mean so much, and the likes. One important hint: Make sure to brush up your memory before doing this. Women are great with remembering trivia and may ask you specific details. Always be prepared!
  4. Get some heart-shaped helium balloons. Drive to her workplace or home and attach the balloons to the door of her car or her house. Public display of affection always scores high points with womenfolk.
  5. You can never go wrong with a romantic getaway for two. Both you and your Juliet have busy weekly schedules, try pack your bags for a day or two (or for as long as you desire!) and take off out of town. Nature is incredibly romantic; explore mountain ranges, go skiing or hike some trails if you are adventurous types. For a laid back holiday, visit the countryside or book a hotel room by the beach. Your options are limitless.
  6. For those of you thinking, “Hey, the economy is in a recession and fuel prices are up, a getaway is the last thing I have in mind!” do not fret; we have some ideas for you too. Many hotels offer special Valentine's Day packages and with the sweet deals they offer, you can get away without breaking your budget. Start searching for deals and reserve early!
